The Old Dairy is on a small farm in Whitwell, on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached single-storey place, a converted dairy building. You can see the farm fields from the garden.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and modern inside, with underfloor heating.
The living area is all open plan. There's a proper kitchen with a dishwasher. Doors lead out to a decked patio with a table and a barbecue. The garden is fully enclosed.
There's a separate snug room with a Nintendo Switch. The washing machine is in the utility room, along with bike storage. We have an electric vehicle charger on site.
We keep a few alpacas on the farm. You're welcome to go and see them. Sometimes we have chicken eggs for sale.
Whitwell is quiet. There's a village shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. Ventnor is about a ten minute drive south. It's a proper seaside town with a beach, botanic gardens, and a few fish and chip shops. The microclimate there is noticeably warmer.
You're well placed for exploring. The coast path is accessible in a few spots nearby for walks. Driving to Shanklin, Sandown, or Godshill is straightforward, all within 20-30 minutes. Cowes and the Needles are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
