7 The Priory
7 The Priory is a first floor apartment in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. It's one of a friendly little development, also called The Priory. You get great, wide views out to sea from the front.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's an apartment, so you do have neighbours.
There's a private balcony at the front with a table and chairs. It gets the sun and you can sit out there with a drink. There's also a shared grassy garden area on the development itself, which is handy if you've got children with you.
The beach at Shanklin is about a ten minute walk downhill. It's a good sandy beach. From there, you can walk along the coast path to Sandown or Ventnor if you fancy it.
For things to do, Shanklin has the usual seaside things. There's a theatre and some gardens. Ventnor is about a fifteen minute drive. Osborne House is near East Cowes, which is roughly half an hour by car. The Needles are at the other end of the island, about forty minutes away.
Facilities include a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's on-site parking, which is important here. There is a local pub within walking distance. Sorry, no pets.
