7 The Priory
7 The Priory is a first floor apartment in Shanklin. It's part of a small development, also called The Priory. You get great views out to sea from the living room and the conservatory.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms and has one bathroom. It's a 4 Star property, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there's a washing machine too.
There's a small balcony off the conservatory with a table and chairs. It's a good spot. The development has a shared grassy garden which is handy if you've got kids with you. Parking is on site.
Shanklin Beach is about a ten minute walk down the hill. It's sandy and popular. The town has the usual shops, cafes, and a local pub. For walks, you can follow the coast path to Sandown one way or towards Ventnor the other.
If you're driving, you can get to a lot of the island's spots in under half an hour. The Needles and Alum Bay are about 25 minutes away. Osborne House is around 20 minutes. For a good day out, the National Trust has several properties and walks on the island.
