Bungalow 5
Bungalow 5 is one of the Fort Spinney bungalows in Yaverland. It's a ground floor place with its own enclosed garden out the back. You can sit out there. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms, and there's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
You're basically right by the beach. It's less than a two minute walk. Yaverland Beach is a long sandy beach, good for swimming. You can see the red sandstone and the chalk of Culver Cliff from there. Fossils sometimes get washed up. The Dinosaur Isle museum is just along the front if that's your thing.
Sandown is about a twenty minute walk along the flat. It's a proper seaside town with a pier, amusements, that kind of thing. Shanklin is a bit further but you can walk the whole bay along the seafront if you want.
The site is about half a mile from the local pub and restaurant. The nearest shop is a mile away in Sandown.
Facilities: it's all on one level, which is good for access. There's parking. Wi-Fi, a washing machine, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
For things to do, the Isle of Wight Coastal Path is right there. The island's good for cycling. For a day out, Osborne House is about half an hour's drive. The Needles is a bit further, maybe forty minutes.
