Bungalow 5
Bungalow 5 is a holiday bungalow in Yaverland. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's all on the ground floor. The doorways are wide and there's a ramp to the front door, so it's good if you've got mobility issues or a wheelchair. You get a small enclosed garden out the back with a table and chairs.
It's a short walk from the sea, about a hundred yards. The beach is sandy and shelves gently. It's a good spot for swimming. Just along the coast is the Dinosaur Isle museum. You can look for fossils on the beach.
Sandown is about a twenty minute walk along the flat. It's that traditional English seaside sort of place. There's a pier, amusements, cafes. From there you can walk on to Shanklin along the sea wall.
Inland a bit, you've got the Isle of Wight Zoo, which is known for its big cats. It's a five minute walk from the bungalow.
Further afield, you can drive to Osborne House in East Cowes. It was Queen Victoria's place. The Needles at the west end of the island are about an hour's drive. They've got a chairlift and a pleasure park there.
For a day out, you can look at National Trust Isle of Wight and Visit Isle of Wight.
Facilities wise: You can bring one dog. There's a washing machine, a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. There's Wi-Fi and a TV.
