Bungalow 1
This is Bungalow 1 at Fort Spinney. It's in Yaverland, right on Sandown Bay on the Isle of Wight.
It's a bungalow. Two bedrooms, sleeps four. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything is on one floor and the entrance is wheelchair accessible. It's open plan inside.
The back garden is enclosed. There's a patio area with outdoor furniture. You get parking right there.
The beach is very close, about 100 yards. It's a stony, sandy beach. They find fossils along there sometimes.
A five minute walk along the front gets you into Sandown. It's a proper seaside town with a pier, amusements, that sort of thing. There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile away. The nearest shop is a mile.
If you want a longer walk, you can walk along the seafront all the way to Shanklin. It's flat.
The Dinosaur Isle museum is a short walk away. Sandown Zoo is next to it. For a day out, Osborne House is about half an hour's drive. So is The Needles.
Facilities: it's got a washing machine, a cot and highchair if you need them, bedding and towels are included, and there's Wi-Fi and a TV.
No pets.
