Greenwood Cottage is on Greenwood Farm just outside Brading. It's detached. You've got your own bit outside with a patio and a barbecue.
It sleeps five, in two bedrooms plus a small extra room downstairs. There's a bunk bed and a single in one room, a double in the other. The downstairs room is good if you've got kids who want a space to play, or if someone wants to sleep separately. One bathroom, with a shower. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
You're on the farm, so it's quiet. There are paddocks and stables. You can walk straight out onto the footpath network from the farm. Brading Roman Villa is a short walk away. It's a good site, run by English Heritage.
The coast is about a mile. You can drive to Yaverland or Sandown beach in a few minutes. There's a shop and a pub in Brading village, also about a mile.
If you want to explore, a lot of the east side stuff is within half an hour. The steam railway at Havenstreet, Dinosaur Isle in Sandown, or Tapnell Farm Park are all close. For a bigger day out, Osborne House or Carisbrooke Castle are about a 25 minute drive. Visit Isle of Wight has all the official information.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's bike storage if you bring cycles. You can bring one well-behaved dog. Parking is right outside.
