Old School Mews Too is in Shanklin. It's one of a pair of semi-detached houses, converted from an old school building. The garden is private, with a patio and a barbecue.
The house sleeps four, in two king-size bedrooms. Both have their own en-suite bathrooms, which is handy. One bedroom has a dressing room with a fold-up single bed in it, suitable for a child. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-finished and comfortable.
You're a few minutes' walk from the cliff path, which takes you straight down to the beach. Shanklin beach is sandy. The Esplanade has the usual seaside things: amusements, crazy golf, places to eat. The main town has shops and cafes. The Old Village, with its thatched cottages and tea rooms, is pleasant for a wander.
On the island, you're about half an hour's drive from most things. The Needles at Alum Bay is a big attraction. Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House are both worth a visit. For a day out, the sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes are nice. English Heritage for Carisbrooke Castle and English Heritage for Osborne House have the practical info.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot, highchair, and stairgate are available if you need them. There's parking on site. No pets.
This house can be booked together with the one next door, Old School Mews, if you're a larger group.
