Candlelight Cottage is in Ventnor, up past the park. It's a Victorian house, so the rooms feel big with the high ceilings. The staircase in the hall is original, a nice bit of woodwork.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done up to a good standard. Everything's clean and works properly.
You're opposite the park. It's about a ten minute walk down to the seafront, the beach, and the Botanical Gardens. There are a couple of pubs and restaurants on the way. The local shop is half a mile up the hill.
If you drive, you're well placed. The Isle of Wight Coastal Path is right there. You can be in Shanklin or Sandown in about twenty minutes. The Needles and Alum Bay are maybe forty minutes drive.
The house has what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. TV in the living room. There's parking for one car on the drive. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for dogs. You can bring two. We provide bed linen and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them.
For planning, the National Trust Isle of Wight page is useful for their properties.
