This is Lower Chine Apartment in Shanklin. It’s a second-floor flat, so there are a few flights of stairs to get up. It’s in a building called The Adelaide.
It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One has a king-size bed with its own bathroom attached. The other has two single beds and uses the main bathroom. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all one open space. There’s a balcony you can step out onto from the living room. You get a decent view of the beach and the sea.
The main thing is the location. You’re right on the seafront. You can hear the waves. Shanklin’s sandy beach is basically outside. The promenade with the usual cafes and things is there too, so you don’t need to drive for the basics.
Inside, it’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well-equipped. There’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. We provide a cot and a high chair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
If you want to explore, you’re in a good spot for it. Shanklin Chine is a five-minute walk. Ventnor Downs is about a twenty-minute drive. Carisbrooke Castle is around half an hour by car. Cowes and the Needles are both within about forty minutes.
