Bungalow 6 is one of a few holiday bungalows at Fort Spinney in Yaverland. It's on the Isle of Wight, obviously. The place is about 100 yards from the beach, which is as close as it sounds.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level and the entrance is wheelchair friendly, so it's good if stairs are a problem. The garden out the back is enclosed, so it's private.
Yaverland Beach is right there. It's a long sandy beach, good for a swim. You can walk from one end of Sandown Bay to the other along the seafront. Sandown has a pier, amusements, that sort of thing. It's about a 15 minute walk past the zoo. Shanklin is a bit further along the coast.
The Dinosaur Isle museum is very close if you've got kids interested in that. The Isle of Wight Zoo is next door, known for its big cats.
If you want to explore, you can drive to places like The Needles or Osborne House within about 30 to 45 minutes. For walking routes or heritage sites, the National Trust Isle of Wight page is useful.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
The local shop is a mile away. There's a pub and a restaurant about half a mile up the road.
