Piers End
Piers End is a flat on Shanklin Esplanade. It's on the third floor, but there's a lift. You get good sea views from the balcony.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. One has a kingsize bed and its own bathroom. The other has two single beds. There's a second bathroom as well. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The living area is open plan. There are two sofas, a TV, and the kitchen is at one end. It has a dishwasher and a washing machine. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
You're right on the seafront. The beach is shingle, but it's sandy when the tide goes out. Shanklin Chine is a short walk away, it's a wooded gorge with a waterfall. The town has the usual seafront things, like amusements and tea rooms.
Sandown Bay is along the coast, a few minutes in the car. You can walk to the National Trust sites at Bembridge and the needles from there if you're up for it. For a proper day out, Osborne is about half an hour's drive.
There's no parking at the flat itself, but there's a pay and display car park very close by. No pets, sorry.
