Bungalow 8
This is Bungalow 8 in Yaverland. It's on the Fort Spinney estate, which is a row of holiday bungalows right by the beach. Less than five minutes walk to the sand.
It sleeps four, all on the ground floor. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Good for a family. The garden is enclosed and private.
Yaverland Beach is a good, long sandy beach. It's mostly quite gentle for swimming. You can see the red cliffs and the white chalk of Culver Cliff. Sometimes people find fossils. There’s Dinosaur Isle nearby if that's your thing.
The walk into Sandown is flat and easy, about fifteen minutes. You go past the zoo. Sandown has a pier, amusements, that sort of thing. You can walk along the seafront all the way to Shanklin if you want a longer stroll.
If you want to explore, Osborne House is about half an hour away. The Needles are about a forty minute drive for the day. The whole island is easy to get around.
Facilities: there's parking right outside, a washing machine, wi-fi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
There's a shop about a mile away. A pub and restaurant are half a mile away. The beach is just down the path.
