Seldon Avenue is our place in Ryde. It's a detached house, so you're not sharing walls with anyone. You can park about four cars on the drive at the front.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of those bathrooms is a shower room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. The place is all laminate flooring, which is easy to clean.
It's very dog friendly. We allow up to four dogs. There's that ground floor shower, and a hose outside, which is handy for cleaning off muddy paws. The back garden is fully enclosed.
The view from the front is over the Solent towards Portsmouth. You can see the Spinnaker Tower. There's always something going on on the water.
Appley Beach and the park are a short walk away. The promenade has things like tennis courts, bowling and a pool. The beach is sandy and good for dogs.
Ryde town centre has shops and places to eat. It's about a mile for the main shops. The nearest pub is about three quarters of a mile.
If you want to explore, you can get to most places on the Island within about half an hour. Osborne House is near East Cowes. Carisbrooke Castle is inland. The Needles and Alum Bay are out to the west. The English Heritage and National Trust sites are worth a look for planning.
For facilities, it's got the basics: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and stairgate if you need them.
