Bay
This is Bay. It's one of the wooden huts at Buttercup Barn Retreats, near Wootton Bridge on the Isle of Wight. It's for two people.
The hut is round, like a yurt. It's all one open space inside, with a kingsize bed at one end. There's a stable door you can leave the top half open on if the weather's nice. There's a window in the roof so you get a lot of light. Outside there's a table and chairs.
The site is in the countryside, so it's quiet. You look out over fields. It's detached, so you've got your own space. You can bring one dog.
It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-finished and has everything you need. There's parking right there, and WiFi.
You're about a 15 minute drive from Ryde. Cowes is about the same drive in the other direction. From Cowes you can get the Red Funnel car ferry over to Southampton. Newport is inland, about 10 minutes away for bigger shops.
The coastal path is good for walks. For a day out, the National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline and some historic houses. Osborne House is in East Cowes.
