Fair Isle Holiday Cottages - Fisher
Fisher is one of the new cottages here on the Isle of Wight, built in 2020. It's detached, so you've got your own space.
It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Everything's on the ground floor, which is handy. Two of the bedrooms go straight into the shower room, and the main one has its own ensuite. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and in good nick.
The living area is open plan. Big bi-fold doors go out onto a full-length balcony. You get a good view over the fields from there, east and west, so you can see the sun come up and go down. The garden wraps around the place. There's furniture and a barbecue out there. You can park two, maybe three cars.
It's set back from the main road between Newport and Arreton. You're about a mile from a shop and a pub that does food. Ryde and the beach are about a ten-minute drive.
For getting about, there are bridleways straight from the cottage into Newport or Arreton if you're walking or cycling. The bus stop into Newport or Ryde is five minutes away.
Lots to see nearby. Arreton Barns and The Garlic Farm are just up the road. Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle are a short drive. Robin Hill Adventure Park is close, and Ventnor Botanic Garden is about twenty minutes by car.
Facilities: it's got WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. The place is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has a ground floor wet room. It's adapted for that.
You can bring up to two dogs.
