Horseshoe Cottage is in Porchfield, which is on the Isle of Wight. It's a semi-detached cottage in a quiet village.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. The place is clean and tidy.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs. You can have up to two pets. There's parking right at the cottage.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. There's a washing machine, and the bedding and towels are included.
Now, the stairs. They're in the description for a reason. They are steep and narrow. If you've got bad knees or very young children, you'll need to be careful.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is about two miles, in Shalfleet. For a bigger shop, Newport is about four miles away. They've got all the usual supermarkets there, plus a cinema.
The coast is close. Thorness Bay and Compton Bay are both about a 10-minute drive. Good for beach walks.
If you like walking or cycling, the main coastal path and the round-the-island cycle route pass very near the cottage. You don't have to drive to start a good walk. Newtown is nearby, it's an old town run by the National Trust now, and it's good for birdwatching.
For a day out, Cowes is about five miles. Yarmouth is a bit further. Both are proper sailing towns with places to eat and look around.
