Winkle Cottage is in Calbourne, on the Isle of Wight. It's a small cottage by a stream. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The cottage has a 4 Star grading. It's comfortable and well looked after. The bathroom has a shower. There's a wood burner for the cooler months. The WiFi is okay, but it's the countryside so it's not super fast.
It is wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but the bathroom is not adapted, so you'd need to check if that works for you.
The garden is a decent size. It's not fully enclosed, so if you've got dogs you'll need to keep an eye on them. Ducks do come up from the stream. People sometimes feed them.
There's a pub up the road. It does food. Calbourne Water Mill is a few minutes' drive away. It's a working mill with a museum.
For the coast, you're about a fifteen-minute drive to places like Freshwater Bay or Totland. Yarmouth is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes. It's an old town with places to eat and a ferry to Lymington. The Needles and Alum Bay are about twenty-five minutes drive. You can get boat trips from there.
There's parking for one car on the gravel next to the cottage. We can take up to two dogs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. We have storage for bikes if you're cycling.
