Badgers Sett Brook
Badgers Sett Brook is on the west side of the island in Brook. It's a detached barn, so you're on your own.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which is accurate. It's comfortable, clean, and everything works. The ceilings are high, which gives it a nice sense of space.
You're about a ten minute walk from Brook Bay. It's a good sandy beach. A thing people come to see is the fossilised forest at Hanover Point when the tide's out. There are dinosaur footprints in the rocks too.
The local pub is about three quarters of a mile away. They do food. The nearest shop is a drive.
It's a good spot if you have a dog. One well-behaved dog is fine. The garden is enclosed, so they can't run off.
There's parking right there. It has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine too.
For getting around, it's easy to reach the coast path. The island is popular for cycling now. The old railway tracks are good for a flat ride. If you're up for it, you can cycle to the Needles.
