Palomino Cottage is in Brook, on the Isle of Wight. It's one of four cottages made from an old stable block.
It's a one-bedroom cottage, sleeps four maximum. There's a kingsize bed, and then a sofa bed in the living area. The bathroom is ensuite to the bedroom, which is handy.
The main room is open plan. It's a good size under the oak beams. The window looks out at Brook Hill House, where J. B. Priestley used to live.
Brook beach is about a two-minute drive down the hill. It's a nice spot, and the sunsets from this side of the island are very good.
For getting about, you've got parking right there.
Inside, you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are provided. There's a cot if you need one. We take up to two dogs.
If you want to see things further out, Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle are about half an hour's drive. The Needles are a similar distance.
If you're looking for information on walks or days out, the National Trust Isle of Wight site is useful, as is the Visit Isle of Wight site.
