Cherry
Cherry is one of a few cottages in a courtyard on Chilton Farm, where we live. You share a big grass area and two tennis courts with the other places. We're about a quarter of a mile from the coast, just fields between you and the sea.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 2 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. Some of the rooms are on the ground floor. The layout is open plan.
You're about a mile from the nearest shop and pub. Brighstone village is a short drive. It's nice, with a few places to eat and a National Trust museum.
The beach is a five-minute walk. There are good walks straight from the door, and plenty of cycling routes. The Tennyson Trail is popular.
You're in a good spot for the west side of the island. The Needles and Alum Bay are about a fifteen-minute drive. Carisbrooke Castle is maybe twenty minutes. English Heritage run that. For something different, the model village at Godshill is about half an hour.
What's here: a barbecue, patio garden, parking right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger. TV and WiFi are included. Pets are welcome, up to two. There's a washing machine, and a cot if you need it. Bedding and towels are provided.
