Cherry
'Cherry' is one of three cottages here at Chilton Farm, next to our house in a little courtyard. It's on Chilton Green. The coast is about a quarter of a mile away.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 2 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and tidy, but don't expect luxury finishes. It's a solid place to stay.
You share the big grassed areas and two tennis courts with the other cottages here. The garden patio outside the door is just for you. There's parking right there, and we've got an electric vehicle charger.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. We allow up to two pets.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away in Brighstone village. The pub does food. Brighstone has a few places to eat, a post office, and a National Trust museum.
You can walk to the coast path from here in about ten minutes. The Tennyson Trail for walking and cycling is nearby. For a day out, The Needles and Alum Bay are about a twenty minute drive. Carisbrooke Castle is about fifteen minutes. English Heritage run it.
If you're here with a bigger group, 'Cherry' can be booked with the other two cottages next door.
