Dornfelder is a terraced, single-storey cottage in Wellow. It's one of several on the site. It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Wellow is a quiet village. There's a local shop and pub about a mile away. The post office operates part-time from the site itself. The property is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Visit Isle of Wight has good general information.
Yarmouth harbour is under three miles away. It's about a five minute drive. You can get the car ferry to Lymington from there. Cowes, for sailing, is about twenty minutes by car.
For beaches, Colwell Bay is close and has gentle water. Totland Bay is nearby too, with places to eat. Compton Bay, about a fifteen minute drive, is better for surfing and fossil hunting. The Needles and Alum Bay are a short drive west.
There are plenty of walks. The Tennyson Trail is on the nearby downs. The site is on a cycle route if you bring bikes.
Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are available. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a BBQ for the garden.
Other places within about half an hour's drive include Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House. Tapnell Farm Park is good if you have children.
