Honey Bee Cottage is in Calbourne. It's part of a little row of old estate cottages on Winkle Street. The garden is big and private. It looks out onto a stream.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-looked after. You can bring up to two dogs.
The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. There's a woodburner in the lounge for cooler evenings. We leave bedding and towels for you. Parking is right outside.
You'll get ducks from the stream coming up, especially if they think there's food. The stairs are typical cottage stairs, so they're a bit winding.
Calbourne itself is quiet. There's a pub within walking distance. The West Wight is really accessible from here. You can cycle to the Military Road easily, and we've got bike storage.
In about twenty minutes you can drive to Yarmouth for shops and places to eat. The Needles and Alum Bay are about half an hour west. The beaches along that coast are good, like Totland and Colwell.
