The Granary is a stunning cottage that was originally formed as part of Brighstone Mill, which dates back to the early 19th century. Converted in 1990, the living accommodation is on the first floor with a kitchen and open plan living/dining area, whilst the ground floor has two bedrooms and a bathroom. The cottage is ideal for holidays and short breaks all year round. The garden is enclosed, private and has a real sun trap – you will love having breakfast on the patio! Guests staying for seven nights or more are welcomed with a hamper containing local island produce.
The Brighstone village shop is well stocked and you should be able to buy most items you will need during your stay. Brighstone is one of the most popular and attractive villages on the Isle of Wight. It is situated on the southwest coast, around half a mile from the sea. Brighstone has everything that you would hope for in a village – a church, pub, cafe and bistro, tea room, grocery shop and Post Office, and a card and gift shop. Brighstone Forest is 2 miles away, and you will find some spectacular views around the island high up on the Downs.
