Rookmead Cottage

Rookmead Cottage is in Wellow on the Isle of Wight. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating so it's comfortable and well looked after.

The main thing about it is the view. You get a really good view of the countryside from both the front and the back. It's a light space. The whole place is on one level so there are no stairs to worry about.

There's a patio garden to sit out on. Parking is right there. Inside, you've got a walk-in shower, a TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included.

If you want to get out, you can hire two electric bikes from us by the day. We also have two kayaks available to hire, you'd need to arrange that with me directly. You'll need to bring your own bike helmets and lights.

There's a licensed café you can walk to. For a beach, Colwell Bay is a short drive away. It's sand and shingle with nice views across the Solent. Yarmouth town is the nearest proper place with a harbour, shops, and a castle. The pier there is good for a walk.

The local bus service is nearby if you don't want to drive everywhere. For walking or cycling, the island is good for that. You're not far from the coast.
