Loreto is in Totland, on the west side of the Isle of Wight. It's an adjoining cottage, so it's attached to another one. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which basically means the views are very good.
It sleeps four. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and well-equipped.
The garden is enclosed, with a patio. There’s a summerhouse with a pool table, darts, and some games. It’s useful if the weather turns. You can bring up to two dogs.
Totland Bay is a short walk away for the beach. The walking from here is excellent. You’re right by the Tennyson Trail and West High Down. The coast path is on your doorstep.
A shop is about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest pub is a mile. For a bigger shop, you’d go into Freshwater or Yarmouth.
Yarmouth is a ten minute drive. You can get the car ferry to Lymington from there, or just wander around the harbour. The Needles and Alum Bay are about a fifteen minute drive. National Trust Isle of Wight has details for a lot of the local walks and places like Tapnell Farm Park.
Facilities: it has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and a stairgate if needed.
