Joyful Cottage
Joyful Cottage is in Milford on Sea, about 200 yards from the pub. It's a two bedroom cottage that sleeps four. There are two bathrooms, one is a wet room on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The beach is a ten minute walk. There's a shop about five minutes away. The local beaches are clean, people swim from them.
You're right on the edge of the New Forest. It's about a 15 minute drive to get into it properly for walking or cycling. Lymington is five miles away, it's got a harbour and ferries to the Isle of Wight.
For days out, you've got Hurst Castle, which you can walk to along the spit or get a ferry from Keyhaven. Beaulieu Motor Museum is about a 20 minute drive. The National Motor Museum at Beaulieu is worth a look if you're into that. New Forest National Park Authority has good information for walks.
The stairs inside are steep. That's just how it is. Parking is on site. Pets are allowed, up to three. The garden is enclosed.
Facilities: there's a woodburning stove, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
