Wisteria Cottage
Wisteria Cottage is in Tiptoe, which is on the edge of the New Forest. It's a small, two-up two-down terraced cottage. Sleeps two.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's neat and clean. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep. There's one bedroom and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs is a kitchen at the front and a living room at the back with patio doors. They open out to a small, enclosed patio with a table. It gets the sun in the afternoon.
The cottage has a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right out the front. All bedding and towels are included. There's a barbecue you can use.
The village is quiet. The pub is about 150 yards down the road. They do food. You can walk straight out from the cottage into the forest.
It's a ten minute drive into Lymington. They've got shops, places to eat, and the ferry over to the Isle of Wight. The coast at Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Poole is about half an hour by car.
If you like walking or cycling, you're right in it here. There are marked trails. A drive into the deeper forest gets you to places like Burley or Lyndhurst.
For days out, Beaulieu Motor Museum and Buckler's Hard are close by. Marwell Zoo is about half an hour's drive. Southampton is maybe 25 minutes.
