Laurel Cottage
Laurel Cottage is in Sway. It's attached to our house on one side, but you've got your own front door and a private garden out the back.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, and it gets good light.
You're down a quiet lane. The lane leads straight into the New Forest. You can walk or cycle from the door. You'll see the ponies.
Sway village centre is about five minutes walk. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. One of them does food.
Lymington is a short drive. About ten minutes. It's a proper harbour town with shops and places to eat. You can get the ferry to the Isle of Wight from there if you fancy a day trip.
The coast is about fifteen minutes by car. Milford-on-Sea or Hurst Castle are good spots. If you want to go further, Christchurch, Bournemouth or Poole are all within half an hour.
Other places nearby are Beaulieu Motor Museum and Buckler's Hard. Winchester and Salisbury are both about an hour's drive if you want a cathedral city.
Facilities: there's wifi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
