Forest Acorn is a first-floor apartment in Brockenhurst village. It's modern inside but the building itself fits in, so it's got that New Forest look. You can use the lift or the stairs to get up.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One kingsize, one twin. Both have good beds and nice linen. There's one bathroom. It's a 5 Star place, so it's all done to a high standard.
The living area is open plan. The kitchen is new and has a dishwasher and washing machine. The dining table is made from local oak, which is a nice touch. You've got a good sized TV. Outside there's a small balcony with a couple of chairs. You get two allocated parking spaces and somewhere to put bikes.
You're right in the village. There are shops, cafes, and a few pubs that do food all within a short walk. The train station is about ten minutes on foot, with trains to Bournemouth, Southampton, and London.
This is the New Forest, so animals wander around. You'll see ponies, donkeys, and cattle on the streets. It's just how it is here.
For getting out, you can walk or cycle straight into the woods and heathland from the door. There's a nice spot for a picnic and a paddle in the river at Balmer Lawn, not far away. The coast at Milford-on-Sea or Barton-on-Sea is about a twenty-minute drive.
Within half an hour you can get to Lymington for the sailing and ferry to the Isle of Wight, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, or Exbury Gardens. Lyndhurst is the main village for the Forest.
You can bring one dog. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
