Forest Acorn
Forest Acorn is a first floor apartment in Brockenhurst. It's new, with a modern interior. There's a lift and stairs to get up to it.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Both bedrooms have good Hypnos beds. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything you need. The place is open plan, with a kitchen that has Neff appliances and a dining table made from local oak. There's a small balcony with space for two chairs.
You get two allocated parking spaces and there are cycle racks. It's a short walk into the village centre, and the train station is about ten minutes away. Trains go to Southampton, Bournemouth, and London.
The animals here roam free, so you'll see New Forest ponies, donkeys, and cattle on the roads and in the village. Just drive carefully. There's a nice spot for a picnic or a paddle in the river at Balmer Lawn.
For walks or bike rides, you're right in it. The ancient woods and heathland start practically from the doorstep. There are plenty of pubs, cafes, and restaurants in the village, including a fish and chip shop.
Within about half an hour you can get to Lymington for the ferry to the Isle of Wight, Beaulieu Motor Museum, or Exbury Gardens. The coast at Milford-on-Sea is about a 20 minute drive. Bournemouth and the Jurassic Coast are a bit further.
Facilities include a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
