Arnewood Corner
Arnewood Corner is a big house near Tiptoe. It's detached, on a couple of acres of garden. It looks out over fields.
It sleeps twelve. Six bedrooms, five bathrooms, so nobody should be queueing. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not a show home.
There's a separate games cabin with a pinball machine and a juke box. The swimming pool is heated and there's a hot tub. The kids' play area is fenced. The garden is enclosed, which is useful with the New Forest ponies about.
You're about a mile from Sway village. They've got a shop, a butchers, and a couple of pubs. The New Forest starts practically on the doorstep. You'll see the ponies on the roads. Good for walking and cycling.
Lymington is five minutes in the car. It's a proper sailing town with a harbour, shops, and ferries to the Isle of Wight. The coast is close. Milford-on-Sea beach is about four miles. For a bigger beach day, Bournemouth or Sandbanks are within half an hour.
If you're looking for a day out, Beaulieu Motor Museum is nearby. So is Buckler's Hard, Exbury Gardens, and the New Forest Owl and Otter Park. Peppa Pig World is about a 30 minute drive.
Facilities: there's a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and plenty of parking. It's set up for Christmas. You can bring up to three dogs. Bedding and towels are included.
