Arnewood Corner
Arnewood Corner is just outside Tiptoe, in Hampshire. It's a detached house set in about two acres of garden. The garden looks out over fields.
It sleeps twelve. There are six bedrooms and five bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating.
There are a few things people really like. The swimming pool is heated year-round. There's a private hot tub on the patio. For the kids, there's a play area with swings and a slide.
There's also a separate games cabin in the garden with a pinball machine, board games, and toys. Inside the house, there's a jukebox in the dining room and a piano in the living room.
There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about a mile away in the village of Sway. The roads around here don't have pavements, so you need to be careful if you're walking.
The New Forest is right on your doorstep. You'll see the ponies and cattle on the roads and heathland. It's great for walking and cycling. The official website has good maps: New Forest National Park Authority.
The coast is close. Milford-on-Sea beach is about four miles away, good for crabbing. Bournemouth and Sandbanks are a bit further, maybe a twenty-five minute drive.
Within about half an hour you can get to Lymington for the harbour and ferry to the Isle of Wight, or Brockenhurst in the forest. Attractions like Beaulieu Motor Museum or the beach at Mudeford are also an easy drive.
Facilities wise: everything's included like bedding and towels. There's parking on site. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a wood burner. We have a stairgate if you need it.
