Oakwood

Oakwood is a detached house in Everton, which is just outside Lymington. It sleeps ten people in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you have kids. There's a patio with furniture, a lawn, and a table tennis table. We leave a few bikes there for guests to use as well.

You're right on the edge of the New Forest. You'll see the ponies and cattle wandering around the lanes. There's a village shop for basics and a good pub, both within walking distance. The coast at Milford-on-Sea is about two miles away.

Lymington is a few minutes' drive. It's a nice market town with a harbour, shops, and places to eat. From there you can get the ferry to the Isle of Wight.

For days out, you're well placed. The beaches at Bournemouth and Sandbanks are within half an hour. Exbury Gardens and the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu are close. A bit further afield, within about 35 minutes, you've got places like Paultons Park, Marwell Zoo, or the tank museum at Bovington.

The house has a washing machine and dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on the drive. We don't allow pets.
