Rosedene

Rosedene is in Colwell on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached house, built in 2018. It sleeps up to ten people.

There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star. It feels new and well kept.

Four of the bedrooms and the family bathroom are on the ground floor. One double has its own ensuite shower. That floor is all step-free, which is useful if stairs are a problem. The family bathroom has a big freestanding bath. One of the twin rooms has a PlayStation.

Upstairs is a very large master bedroom. It has a full glass wall, so it gets a lot of light. That has its own ensuite shower too.

The garden has a patio with furniture. You can park about five cars off the road. There's a garage you can use to store bikes if you bring them.

Colwell Bay beach is about a three minute walk. It's a clean, popular beach. There's a beachside cafe there that does food. The local pub and a restaurant are roughly the same distance. The nearest shop is about half a mile.

The house fits ten, so it's good for a big family or a group. We allow one well-behaved dog.

If you're cycling, the old railway tracks are good for that. You can bike to The Needles at Alum Bay. The full round-the-island route is 66 miles.

For days out, places like Osborne House or Carisbrooke Castle are within half an hour's drive. The sailing towns of Yarmouth and Cowes are nearby too.
