Rosedene

Rosedene is in Colwell, on the Isle of Wight. It's a detached house we built new in 2018. It sleeps ten, over five bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The main thing is it's spacious.

The layout is unusual. Four of the bedrooms and a family bathroom are on the ground floor. One of those doubles has its own ensuite. That can be handy if stairs are difficult. Upstairs is the master bedroom. It's big and has a glass wall facing the garden, so it's light.

The garden has a patio. You can fit about five cars off the road, and the garage is good for bike storage if you bring them.

The local pub and a restaurant are a couple of minutes' walk away. Colwell Bay beach is about the same, maybe a five-minute stroll. It's a nice beach, good for a walk and clean.

For a proper day out, The Needles at Alum Bay are worth seeing. Yarmouth and Cowes are the main sailing towns. Osborne House, Queen Victoria's place, is about a half hour drive. For walking, the coastal path runs right past.

Inside, it's got what you'd expect: Wi-Fi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
