Solent Cottage

You can walk from the ferry to the house. There's a shop and a pub about 200 yards away. The town has that old harbour feel, with the pier and cobbled lanes. You can get parking permits on your phone from the council.

For getting around, the bus service on the island is decent. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes. If you want to drive out, the whole island is within half an hour. The Needles and Alum Bay are about a twenty minute drive. Cowes is about half an hour.
