Solent Cottage is in Yarmouth. It's a couple of hundred yards from the front. It's a listed cottage from the 1700s. The town is small, you've got lanes, a few places to eat, and the pier.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well looked after and finished to a good standard. It's comfortable.
There's a shop and a pub a short walk away. You can walk to the cottage from the car ferry terminal, which is useful. Yarmouth itself is good for watching the boats. You can get a foot passenger ferry over to Lymington from here too.
For a bigger beach, you can drive to Totland or Colwell Bay. They're about ten minutes by car. The coastal path runs right past the town if you want to walk.
Facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, an enclosed garden. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
If you're planning trips, the National Trust Isle of Wight page is good, and so is the Visit Isle of Wight site.
