Rest-A-While is a bungalow in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. It's detached, in a quiet cul-de-sac. The garden has a patio and is fully enclosed. We keep it simple out there, there's some furniture.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms; one double and two twins. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Everything's on one level, so no stairs. The doorways are wide and there's a ramp at the front, so it's suitable if you have mobility issues or use a wheelchair.
The kitchen is new. It's got a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a fridge-freezer. The living room and dining area are open plan. There's a Smart TV and WiFi. All bedding and towels are included.
You can walk to Freshwater Bay in about ten or fifteen minutes. It's a pebble beach, good for swimming. The coastal path goes right from there. You can walk west along the cliffs to The Needles, or east towards Tennyson Down. The Tennyson Monument is up there. For a sandy beach, you'd want to drive to Compton Bay, which is about ten minutes away.
There's a local shop and a pub within walking distance. Freshwater village has a few more shops and a supermarket. It's useful.
Within half an hour's drive, you can get to most places on the west of the island. Yarmouth is a short drive away for ferries and cafes. The Needles Landmark Attraction is about fifteen minutes by car. If you're into golf, Freshwater Bay Golf Club is just up the road.
No pets, sorry. Parking is on the drive for two cars.
