Chestnut Cottage is in Brook. It sleeps eight in three bedrooms. Sounds wrong, I know, but it works. There's a super king room with its own bathroom, a king room, and a twin room. You also get a main family bathroom. The place has five stars, so it's well looked after.
The cottage is part of a converted stable block. There are three others like it next door. The garden and parking are yours. Inside, it's open plan and has things like a washing machine and WiFi. It's fine for two dogs.
Brook beach is two minutes away by car. It's sandy, good for fossils, and the sunsets are great. You can walk down to it, but it's a bit of a trek if you're carrying stuff.
If you want to drive, you can get around the whole island easily from here. The needles are about twenty minutes away, you've got Osborne House in East Cowes, and Carisbrooke Castle is inland near Newport. You can find details for those at the English Heritage site.
The place is set up for Christmas if you're booking then. All bedding and towels are included.
