Appletree
This place is Appletree. It's on the Isle of Wight, near a small village called Chilton Green. It's one of three cottages in a courtyard next to the main farmhouse. You share some big grass areas and there are two tennis courts anyone can use.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 2 Star rating, which is as it sounds: functional and clean. Nothing flash.
You're about a quarter of a mile from the coast here. A five minute walk gets you to the cliffs. The path down to the beach is steep in parts.
The local village is Brighstone, about a mile away. It's got that classic look, a few places to eat, a shop, a post office. There's a National Trust museum there too. The pub does food.
For walking, you're right on the Tennyson Trail. The coastal path is brilliant. You can walk for miles.
If you drive, you can get to most of the island's spots within half an hour. That means Freshwater Bay, The Needles at Alum Bay, Carisbrooke Castle, and the seaside at Shanklin. Godshill is the village with the thatched cottages you see in pictures.
What's here: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There's a patio and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs. We also have a cot if you need it.
Appletree can be rented with the other two cottages next door if you've got a bigger group.
