Hampton House

Hampton House is in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight. It's a big house that sleeps twelve people. It's got five bedrooms and four bathrooms, so it's good for a family group or a few families together.

It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's not over the top, but everything is good quality and works properly.

The main bit is the living room downstairs. It's a decent size for everyone to sit. There's a log burner for cooler nights. French doors open out to the garden, which is enclosed. There's a patio with furniture and a barbecue.

Upstairs, there's another living area with a window seat. The new balcony is on this floor too, overlooking Freshwater Bay. You get a good view from there.

Facilities wise: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. One well-behaved dog is allowed.

The location is straightforward. You're across the road from Freshwater Bay itself. You can walk down to the pebble beach in a couple of minutes. For a bigger sandy beach, Compton is about a ten minute drive.

The area is good for walking. The Tennyson Trail starts close by, up on the downs. For a proper coastal walk, you can join the Isle of Wight Coastal Path. If you're into golf, there's a course nearby.

If you want to explore further, Yarmouth is a short drive west. It's a nice harbour town. Ventnor and the other southern coastal villages are within a half hour drive. The Needles are about fifteen minutes away by car.
