Pigeon Coo Farmhouse is in Cranmore, on the Isle of Wight. It's one of two semi-detached farmhouses.
It sleeps nine people in five bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. The stairs are a feature, as they're quite narrow and steep in places. It's an old house, parts of it are from Tudor times.
You're in the Hamstead Heritage Coast, so it's quiet and good for wildlife. Newtown Creek is a short walk away. You can get straight onto the footpaths from here. The coast path is along the top of the cliffs, about a mile down to the beach.
The local pub is a mile away. They do food. There's a village shop at the same distance.
On the island, The Needles and Alum Bay are about a 25 minute drive west. Osborne House is about half an hour away, near East Cowes. Cowes itself is good if you're interested in boats and sailing. Carisbrooke Castle is roughly a 20 minute drive.
Facilities: it's got a woodburner, dishwasher, washing machine, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them.
