The Shieling is near Freshwater Bay, on the Isle of Wight. It's semi-detached. You can walk to the beach in about fifteen minutes.
It’s a little place for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It’s got a 3 Star rating, so it’s clean and everything works, but don’t expect anything flash. The garden is enclosed, which is handy if you’re bringing a dog. You can take one pet.
Freshwater village is a short walk away. There’s a shop and a pub. The pub does meals. Totland Bay is just along the coast. They’ve got a café and restaurant there.
Yarmouth, which is a proper little harbour town, is about three miles away. If you’re walking, The Needles and Tennyson Down are right there. The coastal path is good. There's also a cycle route on the old railway line if you fancy that.
Compton Bay is good for surfing and they’ve got dinosaur footprints you can see at low tide. You'll need to drive or get a bus there.
It’s got the basics: a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, parking. Bedding and towels are included. Washing is an extra.
