The Shieling is in Freshwater, on the Isle of Wight. It's a semi-detached bungalow that sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and functional.
The main thing is the location. You can walk to Freshwater Bay in about fifteen minutes. It's a good spot for a couple, or for one person with a dog, as we take one pet. The garden is enclosed.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen area with a dishwasher, a sitting area with a TV and WiFi, and the bedroom leads off from there. The shower is in the bathroom. Bedding and towels are included. You park on the gravel drive at the front.
For walking, Tennyson Down is right there. The coastal path is brilliant. You can walk for miles. For a beach day, Compton Bay is a short drive away. It's sand and shingle, and sometimes has surf. The famous Needles are along that coast too.
Yarmouth is about three miles away. It's a small harbour town with shops, places to eat, and a ferry to the mainland. Totland Bay is also close. They've got a café and restaurant there.
