The Old Boat Store

The Old Boat Store is in Totland, right at the far west of the Isle of Wight. It's a one-bedroom place, just for two people. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and has everything you need.

It’s a single building, detached, on our land down a private track. It’s quiet. You get your own little patio garden, which is enclosed.

The name is accurate. It really was the old boat store. It's been converted now, so inside it's all new, with a proper kitchen and bathroom. The bedroom has an en-suite.

Location-wise, you're in a valley between the West High Downs and Headon Warren. You can walk up onto the downs or down to the coast in minutes. The coastal path is right there. For a proper beach, Totland Bay is about three-quarters of a mile down the road. You can walk along the promenade from there to Colwell Bay.

There's a pub, The Highdown Inn, about 200 yards away. They do food. There's also a farm shop and cafe at Stoats Farm nearby.

Other things nearby: Alum Bay and the Needles are a short drive. Freshwater Bay is about two miles. The Yar River path is good for a flat walk or cycle. You're well placed for the whole West Wight.

Facilities: it has parking, WiFi, a TV, washing machine, dishwasher, and a BBQ. There's bicycle storage if you bring bikes. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
