The Old Boat Store is in Totland. It's a detached place on our land, down a private track. It's for two people.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom, which is en suite. The rating is 4 Star. It's clean and comfortable. The bed is a double.
You've got your own enclosed garden with a patio. There's parking right there. Inside, there's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Towels and bedding are included. There's WiFi and a TV.
The track is private, so it's quiet. You can walk straight out onto the coastal path. The beach at Totland Bay is about three quarters of a mile away. You can walk along the promenade from there to Colwell Bay.
There's a pub, The Highdown Inn, about 200 yards up the lane. They do food. A bit further along, there's a farm shop that does coffee and local produce.
If you drive, Alum Bay with the coloured sands and The Needles is about five minutes. Freshwater Bay is about two miles. It's good for surfing. Kayaking is popular there to see the caves, but be careful with the tides.
For walking, Headon Warren and the West High Downs are right there. The National Trust owns a lot of the coast here. You can walk to Tennyson Down from Freshwater Bay.
Yarmouth is about a ten minute drive. You can get the car ferry to Lymington from there. Cowes is about half an hour by car.
