Brambles Kip is in Freshwater, on the Isle of Wight. It's a single-storey holiday home on a site right on the coastal path.
There are two bedrooms and it sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious. The main thing is the view. You look out over the downs and the sea. You can walk straight from the cliff down to the beach. It's sand and shingle.
On the site there's a launderette, a pitch and putt course, field tennis, and a kids' play area.
The shop and a couple of friendly pubs are in Freshwater, about a mile away. They've got an indoor swimming pool there too. Yarmouth, which is a proper little sailing town, is about ten minutes drive in the other direction.
You're basically in the middle of the west end's walks. Tennyson Down and Headon Warren are right there. The Needles and the coloured sands at Alum Bay are five minutes away by car. If you want a day out with more to do, The Needles Park has the chairlift and boat trips.
Further afield, within half an hour, you've got places like Carisbrooke Castle and Osborne House. The driving is pretty straightforward on the island.
Things you might want to know: there's parking right by the cottage and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding is included. There's a washing machine. Pets aren't allowed.
