The Bothy

The Bothy is near Lymington. It's semi-detached, set back from a quiet lane. You can walk into Lymington in about 20 minutes. It's about a five minute drive.

It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a bathroom are downstairs, so it's flexible. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not palatial.

The kitchen has an Aga and a butler sink. Flagstone floors too. The sitting room has a wood burner and doors out to the garden. The garden is enclosed. There's a separate games room with table football and air hockey, and a big TV with DVDs.

The stairs are normal. The garden gets the sun in the afternoon.

You're right on the edge of the New Forest. A five minute drive and you're into the open forest, so you'll see the ponies. Good walking and cycling from the door. Lymington itself has the Saturday market, the harbour, and places to eat. There's a pub about a quarter of a mile away.

For days out, the coast at Milford-on-Sea is about ten minutes by car. Beaulieu Motor Museum and Buckler's Hard are close. Exbury Gardens is worth a visit. Further afield, within about half an hour, you've got the beaches at Bournemouth and Sandbanks, or you can go towards the New Forest visitor centres.

Facilities: parking for two cars on the drive. Enclosed garden with a BBQ. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. We allow pets, up to three.
