The Cottage at Boscobel is in Brockenhurst, on the edge of the New Forest. It's a detached bungalow in the grounds of our house, but it's private. You'll see our place, but you have your own garden and entrance.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both rooms look out over the garden. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and everything works. It's all on one level, so the access is good. The living room has a table to eat at and a few books if you want them.
You're right on a quiet lane. You can walk straight out onto the forest from the gate. The ponies and cows wander past regularly. It's about a ten minute walk into Brockenhurst village. There's a shop, a few pubs that do food, and the train station there.
For a day out, Beaulieu is about six miles away. Lymington is the same distance, it's a proper sailing town with a harbour and a ferry to the Isle of Wight. The nearest beaches are at Milford-on-Sea and Keyhaven, maybe a fifteen minute drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, wifi, TV, and parking right outside. The garden is enclosed. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
