Leygreen Farmhouse

Leygreen Farmhouse is outside Beaulieu, down a country lane. It's detached so there are no neighbours attached to you. It used to be a B&B and sleeps up to twelve people.

It's got six bedrooms, and five have their own bathroom. The sixth bedroom uses the shower room next door. For a big group, that's pretty handy.

The kitchen is big, with an Aga and a breakfast bar. There's a dining room you can all fit in, and a living room with an open fire. The garden is enclosed, with places to sit.

A private chef is available if you book it with the owner beforehand. There's parking on site.

Beaulieu village is about a mile away. It's nice for a wander, with shops and cafes. The National Motor Museum is there. The New Forest National Park is all around you. You'll see the ponies and donkeys on the roads and in the fields. Good for walking and cycling.

Lymington has the salt water baths with an inflatable obstacle course, if that's your thing. You can get the ferry from there to the Isle of Wight for a day trip. Bournemouth beach is about a 40 minute drive. Other places within half an hour or so include Hurst Castle, Exbury Gardens, and Paultons Park.

There's a shop and a pub about two miles away. The coast is about 20 miles.

It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You can bring up to two dogs. Facilities include a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and a cot and highchair if you need them.
