Lantern Cottage Lyndhurst

Lantern Cottage is in Lyndhurst. It's an end of terrace, one of a row. It's been done up recently.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The stairs are a bit steep, and there's no handrail on one side when you get to the top. Something to be aware of if you've got kids or anyone unsteady.

The garden is enclosed, which is handy. There's a wood burner in the living room and parking right outside.

The village is about a seven minute walk. There's a Co-op and a Tesco there, a few pubs, and some cafes. You're basically on the edge of the open forest straight away, which is good for walks.

If you want the beach, the nearest ones are at Beaulieu or Lepe, about a fifteen minute drive. Lymington is ten minutes away. You can get the ferry to the Isle of Wight from there.

For days out, you've got the Beaulieu Motor Museum and Bucklers Hard nearby. Paultons Park is about twenty minutes away if you've got children. The New Forest is good for cycling and horse riding.

Facilities wise: there's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding is included. You can bring one dog. There's a stairgate if you need it.
