Heathfield Lodge is the little thatched place on the side of our house. It's in Heathfield, Hampshire, right on the edge of the New Forest.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs to the bedroom are steep and a bit narrow, that's just how it is in these old cottages.
You get the verandah and garden to yourselves. It looks out over fields and trees. We get a lot of deer and birds through here.
The New Forest is on your doorstep for walking. You can be in Christchurch or Lymington in about twenty minutes for the coast. Bournemouth is a bit further, maybe half an hour. The National Trust in the New Forest has good information for walks. The Beaulieu Motor Museum is a popular day out, about a fifteen minute drive.
There's a local pub about a mile away, it does food. The nearest proper shop is about the same distance.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot in if you need one. Sorry, no pets.
