Little Heron
Little Heron is a cottage in Christchurch. It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well looked after, more than a basic holiday let. We let one, well behaved dog come.
The cottage has a patio with a view over the river. You can sit out there. Parking is right next to the property, which is useful.
Inside, everything is on one level. The entrance is step free and the shower is a walk in type, so it could suit someone with limited mobility.
It's a five minute walk into Christchurch centre. You've got the priory there, and plenty of pubs and places to eat. The quay is nice for a walk. You can get the little ferry over to Mudeford.
The beach is about three miles away. It's sandy. Mudeford Quay is good if you like sailing or fishing. The whole of the Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep for walks and fossils.
The New Forest is a short drive north, maybe twenty minutes. You can see the ponies and go for walks there.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and all your bedding and towels are included. We also have another cottage next door if you wanted to book both for a group of four.
