Stourcliffe House

Stourcliffe House is a big Edwardian house in Southbourne, Bournemouth. It's detached and in a quiet street. It sleeps eleven people in six bedrooms, so it's good for big families or groups. There are three bathrooms.

It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a living room with a wood burner, a separate games room, and a big kitchen with a dining table. Doors from the kitchen go straight out into the garden. The garden is fully enclosed, so it's safe for kids, and there's a table and chairs out there. The garage has a full sized table tennis table in it.

You're about 300 yards from Southbourne Beach. It's a sandy beach and it's usually a bit quieter than the main Bournemouth beaches. The local shop is 50 yards away, and there's a pub and a restaurant about 100 yards from the house.

For walks, Hengistbury Head is a mile along the coast. It's a nature reserve with good views. Bournemouth town centre is about two and a half miles away. They've got the pier, the Oceanarium, and the big wheel there.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got the New Forest, Poole Harbour, and Christchurch. Further out, there's the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu or Paultons Park if you've got kids.

Facilities: there's parking on the drive, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bed linen is included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate. No pets, sorry.
