Kingfishers

Kingfishers is in Christchurch. It's a modern house right on the bank of the River Stour. You get a patio and garden that leads down to the water, with a private jetty you can fish from.

It sleeps five in three bedrooms and has two bathrooms. It’s 4 Star rated, so it’s been looked after well. The main living area is open plan, with french doors to the garden.

You share access to a heated outdoor swimming pool with the other houses here. There's also a communal slipway if you want to bring kayaks or paddle boards.

Christchurch town centre is a ten minute walk away. There are shops and plenty of places to eat. The Priory is worth a look if you like that sort of thing. For walks, you can go around the harbour, or out to Hengistbury Head. Stanpit Marsh is good for birds.

You're well placed for days out. The beach at Mudeford Spit is close. Bournemouth is about a fifteen minute drive. The New Forest is about the same in the other direction.

Facilities: parking on the drive, washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
