Kingfishers is in Christchurch, on the River Stour. It's one of four houses that share a garden slope down to the water. You get your own bit of garden and a jetty.
The house sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well kept. It's modern inside, quite open plan. The stairs are fine, nothing unusual.
You get a parking space. There's WiFi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a shared heated swimming pool for the four houses, open in the summer months.
If you've got kayaks or paddle boards, there's a shared slipway to get them in the river. You can fish from the jetty. The view is of the river.
Christchurch town is a short walk away. Plenty of places to eat and shops. The quay and the Priory are nice to wander around. For a good walk, you can go around Christchurch Harbour, or out to Hengistbury Head. The beach at Mudeford is sandy.
The New Forest is about a fifteen minute drive if you want to see the ponies or go for a bigger walk. Bournemouth and its beaches are about the same in the other direction.
