Number 3

Number 3 is a ground floor apartment in Bournemouth. It's been recently done up, so everything feels fresh. It sleeps six, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star.

The living room opens out onto a private garden at the back. It faces south, so you get the sun in there. The kitchen is a good size and has a dining area.

It's in a residential area. You're about a 15-minute walk from the beach. There's a local pub a few minutes away. For parking, you have a designated spot and there's an electric vehicle charger.

The facilities are straightforward: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, bedding and towels are included, and there's WiFi. The garden is enclosed. No pets.

For the beach, you can walk down to Southbourne. It's quieter than the main Bournemouth beaches. Bournemouth town centre and the pier are a short drive or a longer walk away. The Oceanarium is on the pier if that's your sort of thing.

If you drive, you can get to Sandbanks in about 10 minutes. The ferry from there goes to Brownsea Island, which is good for a walk and spotting red squirrels.

For a day out, the Jurassic Coast is within half an hour. Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove are the main spots there. Corfe Castle is about 40 minutes by car. The New Forest is roughly the same drive in the other direction, where you can see the ponies.
