Okay, so Oak Lodge. It's a bungalow, detached, in a residential part of Bournemouth. It's about three miles back from the seafront, so you'll need a car or a bus to get to the beach.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-kept and comfortable. Because it's all on one level, there are no stairs to worry about.
The garden is a good size and it's private. Fully enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. We accept up to two pets.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs within a few minutes walk. Just down the road is a 40 acre nature reserve, which is good for a quick stroll.
For the beach and everything else, you'll want to head into Bournemouth centre. The pier, the gardens, the shops, they're all there. It's a proper seaside town. The Bournemouth tourism site has the latest events.
If you drive, you've got options. The New Forest is about half an hour north. You can see the ponies and walk. The Purbecks are to the west, maybe 40 minutes. The coast path there is very good. The National Trust Dorset page lists the main sites like Corfe Castle.
Inside, it has what you'd need. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot. Parking is on the drive.
